About Ballari
Bellary, formally Ballari is a city in the region of Karnataka, India. The city of Bellary is generally called 'Ballari', a term which truly bears reference to Goddess Durugamma. Furthermore, as indicated by well known old stories, this place has a couple of relationship with the colossal epic of Ramayana. It is assumed that Lord Rama at first met Hanuman and Sugreeva in a nearby place named Hampi.
The region has been controlled by a couple of powerful organizations like the Mauryas, Pallavas, Rashtrakutas, Hoysalas and the Badami Chalukyas. In light of its essential zone, Bellary was the picked land for heads, for instance, Aurangzeb, the Nizams and even the British to expand their area. The Vijayanagara rulers constructed the 'city of triumph' in Hampi along the banks of Tungabhadra River. After the decline of the Vijayanagara kingdom, the territory was a loss of political unrest till the British took control.
