Szerencs

Szerencs is a city in Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen county, Northern Hungary. It lies 35 km faraway from Miskolc, and 205 km far from Budapest. Szerencs, with a populace of 9,a hundred inhabitants, grew into a metropolis in which the Great Plain and the Zemplen mountains meet. It is the cultural and economic centre of Southern Hegyalja.
