About Winnenden
Winnenden is a small metropolis within the Rems Murr district of the Stuttgart Region in Baden Wurttemberg in southwest Germany. It lies in wine growing vicinity approx. 20 km northeast of Stuttgart and has a populace of fewer than 28,000. The town is home to the Karcher Company, makers of cleaning gadget specifically pressure washers. The earliest document of Winnenden is found in a record of 1,181 in which Gottfried of Schulenburg Winnenden is mentioned as a witness attesting that Emperor Friedrich I held the fort in the city. Around 1200 the castle, which was then referred to as Windin, got here into the ownership of Heinrich of Neuffen.
