About Dassel
Dassel is a town in southern Lower Saxony, Germany, situated in the area Northeim. It is situated close to the slopes of the Solling mountains. The city covers a territory of 43.64 square miles 113.0 km2. For this, the neighborhood soil skyline gives reasonable conditions as residue underneath the soil layer are comprised of loess. Dassel goes back to the year 860 when it was referenced in a deed of the Imperial Abbey of Corvey.
