About I.F.A. Shield

The IFA Shield is an annual football competition organized by the Indian Football Association. The Indian Football Association is the affiliation representing football in the province of West Bengal, appeared in 1893. Named after the Association, the IFA Shield Tournament was begun around the same time. It is one of the most seasoned football competitions in India and the second most seasoned Cup on the planet.
