Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport–Gangtok (120kms in 4/5 hrs)

Meeting & Greeting on arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,410 ft.),Capital of Sikkim. On arrival check in to hotel, free evening. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 : Excursion to Changu Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Changu Lake (12,312 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city each way (Starts 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3 : Gangtok-Lachen (125 kms / 6 hrs)

After breakfast pick up from hotel & transfer to Lachen (9,285 ft.). En route visit Singhik, Dikchu Dam, Butterfly Falls/Seven Sister Water Falls, Chungthang Confluence. and reach Lachen by evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 4 : Lachen-Gurudongmar Lake-Chopta Valley–Lachung(47 Kms/2 Hrs)

Early Morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake which is 55 kms from Lachen, than visit Chopta Valley (13,225 ft.). Back to hotel and after lunch transfer to Lachung (8,175 ft).Reach Lachung by evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachung

Day 5 : Lachung–Yumthang Valley Excursion Gangtok (125 kms / 5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Yumthang Valley Known as Valley of Flowers (11,910 ft.) is a valley surrounded by towering snow covered mountains. On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. In Spring this valley erupts in riots of colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers are in full bloom. Evening departure for Gangtok. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 6 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After Breakfast start for a Full day city tour (Starts 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM) covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjhakri Falls/Bakthang Falls, Cottage Industry,Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 7 : Gangtok - Darjeeling (115 kms / 4 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft.) Known as Queen of Hills, Famous for Tea, Tourism & Toy Train . On arrival check-in to your hotel. Free evening to stroll around, Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 8 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early Morning at 4:00 am drive to Tiger hill to watch the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, than visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs), free evening. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 9 : Darjeeling – NJP Railway Station /Bagdogra Airport (98 kms / 3 hrs)

This morning check out from hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
