After breakfast, you proceed for a sightseeing tour of New Delhi begins with a drive past Safdarjang's Tomb (1753 AD) while on your way to the 73m high Qutab Minar (1193 AD). Within the Qutab complex, amidst the ruins of Quwat-ul-Islam mosque stands the Iron pillar which has stood the vagaries of weather and has not rusted for over 1500 years. Continue your tour to visit the Humayun's Tomb. Later drive through the Embassy area, Diplomatic enclave, stop for a quick photo shoot at India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidential Estate formerly Viceroy's House) and Connaught Place, New Delhi?s main shopping area. In the afternoon, tour Old Delhi beginning with a visit to Jama Mosque (1650 AD). This is followed by a drive past the Red Fort (1639-48), built by Emperor Shah Jahan, creator of the Taj Mahal. Later proceed to Raj Ghat - the site of the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight in Delhi.
Transfer from your hotel to the airport in time for your flight to Srinagar. On arrival, you are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel-house boat. Spend the afternoon enjoying a relaxing shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Tour the three Moghul Gardens along the lake - the Chasma Shahi, the Nishat and the Shalimar, each more beautiful than the other. In the afternoon, you visit the Museum, Khangah, Jama Masjid and stroll slong the Old Quarters and bridges. Overnight in Srinagar.
Proceed on a late morning sightseeing tour of Leh town, visiting Shanker Gompa, located 3 kms from Leh. The monastery has innumerable small statues of pure gold and a number of interesting paintings. Proceed to the Leh Monastery and the Leh Palace. End the tour by walking around the Leh bazaar. Overnight in Leh.
Embark on a full day excursion to Shey, Thikshy and Hemis Gompa. The Thikshy Monastery is 800 years old and situated on a hilltop. There are several temples housing silver and gold statues, and wall paintings of Buddha. Close by is the summer palace of the old raja of Leh. The Shey Monastery houses a 7.5-m high copper statue of Buddha plated with gold, the largest of its kind. The Hemis Gompa, located 40 kms from Leh, is the biggest monastery in Ladakh. Built in 1630, it has the largest thanka (Tibetan silk painting with embroidery depicting Buddha) in Ladakh, which is unfurled once in 12 years. The Hemis Festival, celebrated on 24 and 25 June, is attended by many people who come to join in the celebrated mask dances. Overnight in Leh.
Early this morning, you visit Shanti Stupa located on a hilltop at Changsha. It can be reached quite easily from the Fort Road. The Stupa, constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization 'The Japanese for World Peace', was built to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism and to promote World Peace. Inaugurated by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama in 1985, the Shanti Stupa is a magnificent white-domed structure offering spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. The stupa looks magnificent at night, when it is beautifully illuminated with glittering lights. Return to your hotel for breakfast. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Leh.

Proceed on a city tour of Agra. Experience the TAJ MAHAL (closed on Fridays), a beautiful mausoleum in pure white marble which took 22,000 craftsmen about 22 years when it was built in 1653. Continue your tour to the grand Agra Fort, the original red sandstone fort built by Moghul Emperor Akbar in 1565.
