In continuation to your visit of Old Delhi in the afternoon, you will visit New Delhi and visit Qutab Minar, the symbolize of supremacy of Islam. Our next stop is Humayun's tomb, built by mother of emperor Akbar. Later we drive pass the India Gate, Presidential Palace and Parliament House.
Day 03: Delhi - Lucknow Sravasti(Train - Shatabdi Exp.)
Early morning you will be transferred to railway station to board the train to Lucknow (Carry packed cold breakfast from hotel). On arrival in Lucknow, Lunch in a local restaurant, later drive Sravasti. In The ancient time Sravasti was the capital kingdom of Kosala Mahajanapada. Sravsti is the place where Lord Buddha confounded his critics with a million fold manifestation of himself, seated on The Thousand-Petaled Lotus, as fire and water emanated from his body. Sonepur Cattle Fair, one of the largest cattle fair in Asia, is organized every year in the Hindu month of Kartik (November) in Sonepur. Sonapur is located in Northern Bihar on the confluence of the holy rivers Ganga and Gandak situated at a distance of approximately 25 km from the capital city of Patna. After breakfast you will drive to Bodhgaya enroute you will visit Nalanda and Rajgir. Rajgir also know as Rajagriha in the past is surrounded by the meandering river Banganga and 5 hills. During the lifetime of the Buddha this was the capital of the powerful Magadh kingdom, ruled by the virtuous King Bimbisara. In the afternoon we visit the Vishwanath temple, also called the golden temple because of the gold-plating on its roof and drive pass Bharat Mata Mandir and Benaras Hindu University - is a premier Central University and a world class educational institution located in Varanasi.
