National Palace Museum: Taipei

National Palace Museum is an art museum in Taipei and is considered to be amongst the best art museums in the world. It is home to the largest collection of Chinese arts, the number of which stands at nearly 700,000. To let public see every item, the displays of museum are rotated every 3 months. There are pottery items, jade, lacquerware, bronze and porcelain artifacts exhibited here, some of which are from prehistoric times dating back to more than 5000 years. There are shows conducted in the museum in both Chinese and English language. Don't be bewildered to know that there is a best time to visit a museum as well.
