La Digue

There is no argument that this is the finest island they have in Seychelles. It is clean, more picturesque than any Seychelles Island and is absolutely tranquil. The beaches of La Digue are considered amongst the best in the world. The most famous beach of all is Anse Source d'Argent. It is filled with leaning palm trees and is spilled with granite boulders at regular intervals, making it a picture perfect for a postcard with no need of tweaking. The interiors of the island are suited to long and short trekking tours. Do not forget to carry your binoculars, as the forest here is home to the elusive Black Paradise Flycatcher, of which only 100 odd are remaining.
