La Amistad International Park

Situated on the borders of Panama and Costa Rica, La Amistad International Park is nearly 500 km away from the capital city Panama City. Most of the landscape of the park is mountainous and offers ample opportunities for trekking and hiking. The total area of the park is around 207,000 hectares inside Panama, the park is the second largest park in the country. Because of the varied altitudes inside the park, the wildlife too differs drastically.
