Skiing: Got To Experience It

It is hard to associate skiing with a country that remains hot in most part of the year. However, the higher parts of Iran has a good cover of snow in the winters and is great for skiing. There are two main ski resort Dizin and Shemshak. Both are situated close to each other and one can see a healthy competition between them. They try to attract tourists by providing facilities that is better than the other. Dizin is the most visited resort as it has easier slopes and is better for novice and intermediate skiers whereas Shemshak is more apt for professionals and people who consider skiing more than just a time pass. The highest skiing point of around 3100 m is in Dizin, They are around 2 hour drive from the capital city Tehran.
