Batubulan

Lying at a distance of merely 10 kms north east of Denpasar (the capital city of the province of Bali) is a quaint hamlet- Batubulan. But if you are interested in a cultural trip of Indonsia, this place would feature in your itinerary. The reason being its rich collection of stone figures of gods and demons and other elaborate door-guardian statues.

Only restricted to the temples or palaces once, these art works are now open for all. So you can grab lots of souvenir from this village. Further, you can enhance your knowledge of the art by paying visits to the workshops and talking with the artists in person.
