Hudson

Hudson is a city situated along the west fringe of Columbia County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 enumeration it had a populace of 6,713, the second-biggest in the region, following the adjacent town of Kinderhook. Situated on the east side of the Hudson River and 120 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, it was named for the stream and its namesake pioneer Henry Hudson. Hudson is the province seat of Columbia County. Hudson is sister city with Pallisa, Uganda.
