Reyhanli

Reyhanli is a town and region of Hatay Province, on the Mediterranean shore of Turkey, close to the nation's outskirt with Syria. Some time ago known as Irtah and Reyhaniye, Reyhanli has been settled by Turks since the 16^th century particularly with Turkish "muhacir" displaced people, Turkic clans from Rey and later in the 19^th century from the Caucasus and Cyprus. Its southernmost environ, Yenisehir, is believed to be close to the antiquated town of Imma or Immae, associated with the Battle of Immae in 272 and most likely additionally with the supposed Battle of Antioch of 218.
