Ramadan is the biggest festival that is celebrated by the Muslim community across the globe. During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims will keep fast and break the fast after the sunset. On the day, when the moon is sighted, people will celebrate Ramadan on a grand scale. Ramzan is the end of the holy month, which signifies peace. 


Muslims will be keeping up their fast with discipline and devotion throughout this period and offer prayers. This festival is celebrated to seek the blessings of divine and with many feasts. The Islam followers will take only two meals a day during this sacred month, i.e. before the sunrise, i.e. Suhoor and break the fast after the sunset, called Iftar. 


Not just Muslims, but the people of other religions also attend the Iftar parties hosted by their Muslim friends in different regions to show the unity in diversity in India. Muslims keep fast all the month long and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. Firecrackers and hugs are seen across India to bid adieu to the holy month of Ramadan. The roadside vendors and kiosk shops that are located in Charminar and Madina would be selling jewelry, pearls, bangles, crockery, cutlery, perfumes, etc. This place would make you feel the festive ambience. Many people will break their fast in the lawns of Mecca Masjid, which is one of the famous mosques in India. People will gather in this mosque to offer the prayers together. 5. Mumbai

The bustling lanes of this road are filled with different variety of food stalls and kiosk shops serving meat, Haleem, and sweets like Jalebi, Phirni, Falooda and Rabri. The most famous Masjid that is located in Mumbai is Minara Masjid is decorated with lights to bring the festive ambience. 


This mosque is known for its wooden windows and stained glasses. On the day of Eid, people will be gathering at Azad Maidan to offer prayers. There are also other famous mosques located in the city like Juma Masjid where you find people coming in to offer prayers.
