1. Morning Chai at Manoj, Pappu Chai Shop

Every morning, Pappu's Chai Stall becomes a common place for intellectual elders around the area who read the newspaper and debate on political issues. This Chai stand is there  for about 80 to 100 years. Manoj, a third generation Chai Wallah, makes almost 700 to 800 cups of chai everyday. Sharma Cafe, a tea stall near Indore railway station, is known for its special chai which costs `12 for a full glass and `6 for half. Vijay Sharma, the owner of the tea shop, shares, "The tea stall was started by my father GC Sharma around 50 years ago and I am just taking his legacy forward. People come over to sip a cup of tea or lassi, that is priced at `25 at our shop. Being close to the railway station we have seen the city moving super fast."

Irfan has been selling chai, cigarettes, gum, and Maggi noodles outside of Curlies at Howrah junction since she was a child. Her work day starts at 4 pm and during the peak season lasts until 6 am. At 7 Rupees, Irfan chai is the best one gets at Howrah Junction. An Estimation of about 1200 cups are sold by him per day
