About Kathmandu
Pashupatinath Temple is a famous Hindu Temple that is located on the Bagmati River in Kathmandu
District. There are many stories the origins of Pashupatinath. Temples and Shrines in the inner
Courtyard- Hanuman Shrine, Vasuki Nath Temple , 184 Shivaling Shrine, Kirti Mukh Bhairav Shrine,
Surya Narayan Temple, etc and many more. The basic Abhusheka Ticket costs around RS1100/-
In 9-11am all dors are opened during the Abhisheka time. In Temple the entry and darshan has 4
entrances in all directions. The west entrance are themain entrance of the Pashupatinath Temple from
9:30 to 1:30 can workship from all 4 doors. Important festivals are the Maha Shiva Ratri and Teej
festivals .In April 2015 the Nepal Earthquake were damaged some of the Temple Buildings.
