Uzupis

Uzupis is an area in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, to a great extent situated in Vilnius' old town, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Uzupis signifies "the opposite side of the stream" in the Lithuanian dialect and alludes to the Vilnia River; the name Vilnius was gotten from the Vilnia.

Uzupis is very little and confined, being just around 148 sections of land in estimate; it has around 7,000 tenants, about 1,000 being specialists. On one side it is isolated from the Old Town by the Vilnia River, on the second there are steep slopes, and on the third side it verges on a modern territory worked under soviet run, which is currently to be remade into a popular locale.
