Ogre

Monster is the vital town of Ogre Municipality in Central Latvia, 36 kilometers east of the capital Riga, arranged at the conjunction of the Daugava and Ogre waterways. It has been a town since 1928. Monster is made out of three sections: Jaunogre, Ogre, and Pārogre. The name of the town originates from the Ogre stream. Daugavpils was assembled, Riga's occupants begun to fabricate summer houses here. In 1862 Ogre turned into a wellbeing resort. The town's crest was allowed in 1938 and demonstrates the lovely stream and pinewoods of Ogre. There is a social focus, a workmanship school and a music school in Ogre. It has three Latvian dialect schools, and one Russian dialect school - Jaunogres vidusskola.
