One of the famous dances of Udaipur is Ghoomar dance. Udaipur is one of the famous tourist destinations due to its rich culture and every year people from all around the world come here to experience the rich culture of this city.   Bhil tribe used to perform Ghoomar to adore goddess Sarasvati but now every area of Rajasthan embrace this dance form. This dance is performed only by women and it is performed wearing Ghaghara which is a kind of flowing dress and hide their face in a mask. The Ghaghara’s are of bright colors with heavy work of mirror on them which makes their performance more colorful and graceful to look at. Today Ghoomar is prominent globally and is listed in the top 10 local dances in the world. Ghoomar is a dance form which was used as a medium to showcase once happiness and was performed on occasions such as festivals, wedding, and any kind of religious occasion.   Ghoomar is performed on traditional songs such as Chirmi Mhari Chirmali, Mhari Ghoomar Chye Nakhrali, Taara Ri Chundadi etc. Ghoomar is performed by ious artists in India; you can also witness this dance form in ious Bollywood movies. This walk is totally into the covered forest area and very few tourists who visit Kumbhalgarh have ventured to go around this great wall. It is noteworthy that Kumbhalgarh is the second highest place on the entire Aravalli range next only to Mount Abu.Through this walk, the lovers of nature, culture and heritage will be able to have a glimpse of the wilderness of national park and the architectural brilliance of this great fort and the mighty wall.
