Cham

Cham is a Landkreis region in Baia, Germany. It exists in the Cham-Further bog, which is skirted on the south by the Baian Forest and on the north by the Oberpfälzer Wald.

The city lies on the Regen River, which joins the Danube at Regensburg.Monks from Regensburg built up the Marienmünster, the first and most prepared church in the Baian woodlands, at Chammünster in the eighth century. The essential reference to Cham as a city appears in 976. A preeminent estate stayed on the Galgenberg German: "platform slant", offering security to the trade course into Bohemia. Cham was surrendered its own money around 1000, the asserted Cham Denar.
