Llanelli Festival of Walks is organized by Llanelli Ramblers in the popular centre of walking called Llanelli. It is open to all and anyone can come and join it. Here, what happens that localities, visitors , members and non-members all just love to share and enjoy the walks. Being a four-day event it provides a sequence of guided treks that could take you to South Wales highest waterfall, the beautiful Gower peninsula or the Brecon Beacons. It may happen this year that local walks again get arranged for and led by youngest walkers just like it happened last year. It is the oldest event in Wales truly of its kind that lures the bystanders for a walking extravaganza. However, some popular social events, from the get-together on the Friday evening, through the Festival Party and on to Monday's farewell Welsh Tea are also on this years list to further amuse you. According to the Festival chairman, Alwyn Williams, This festival has opened peoples eyes to what we have to offer here and really helped to put Carmarthenshire on the map as an excellent walking destination. So, get an advance booking in hotel located in Llanelli of your choice and experience pleasurable walks of your like.
