Travel to the biodiversity hotspot of Kaziranga National Park (5 hours), the main destination for wildlife in Northeast and is famous for the one-horned rhino. Kaziranga was declared a protected forest area by Viceroy Lord Curzon in 1904 and later became an UNESCO heritage centre for its unique environment. Evening will be free to enjoy the cultural programs and traditional dances organized for visitors.

Early in the morning, enjoy an elephant ride in the Western Range to see the one-horned rhinos. (Govt run elephant safari seats are subjected to availability). Then, go on a guided jeep safari in the grasslands of Central Range to see the Wild Buffaloes, Elephants, Swamp deer, sloths, Jungle cats, mongoose and birds such as Pelican, Parakeets, Fish Eagle and Drongos. After lunch, proceed for another jeep safari in the dense forest of Eastern Range, which is a good opportunity to see the migratory birds and sometimes tigers on the banks of Brahmaputra. River Dolphins, wild ducks and turtles can be also seen in the riverside.

After breakfast, proceed towards Barapani near Shillong (6-7 hours), the capital of Meghalaya. Check-in a lakeside resort and enjoy boating in the pristine Umiam surrounded by coniferous forests and hills. Evening will be free at leisure to explore the upbeat Police Bazar market area and dine at a popular cafe

Leave after early breakfast to Mawphlang (2 hours) for a short guided hike through the sacred grove forests (approx 2 hours), walk through beautiful forests and old monoliths. The Sacred Grove is associated with tales and legends from Khasi folklore. Then, drive to Dawki (3 hours) near Bangladesh border and enjoy boating in the clear waters of Umgnot river. Later, proceed to Mawlynnong (1-2 hours) for night stay. Arrive by evening.

Spend the morning exploring the lanes of the clean village and also visit the old church. Interact with the friendly villagers and learn about their Khasi traditions. Walk down the Root Bridge at Riwai village nearby. Then, transfer to Guwahati airport (6 hours) for departure in the evening. End of tour.
