A week of the full spiritual journey begins from Delhi, you proceed towards Chandigarh by road, quite early. It takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach Chandigarh, on the way stop by to visit the Mata Mansa Devi Mandir, near Majra. The temple is the holy abode of the goddess Manasa, many devotees come to the site to tie a thread around the branches of a tree, as it is believed that your wishes comes true by doing so. On reaching Chandigarh, check in at the hotel and leave for the city tour. Later return back to the hotel and sleep over for the night.
In the morning, head towards the Shri Nainadevi Temple, situated on the hilltop in the Bilaspur District. In order to reach the peak of the hill, you can follow the concrete stairs or use the cable car facility, which is more popular among the pilgrims. This site is considered sacred as many mythologies are associated with it. Later drive to Chintpurni, the overall car drive takes about 4 - 5 hours from Chandigarh to the state of Himachal.
This hill station lies in the upper region of the Kangra Valley, because of its location and the landscape, it has gained popularity among the tourists.The 4th day is planned out for exploring Dharamsala, in the morning head out for an excursion to the Chamunda Devi Mandir. The temple is an abode of goddess Shakti or power. Later in the afternoon, go out for another tour to visit the Dalai Lama Monastery, Bhagsu Nag Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, take a 6 - 7 hour road trip to Katra through Jammu. Time for some and freshening up at the hotel in Katra. After changing, move forward with your trek to the Vaishno Devi Shrine. Stay over at one of the dharamsalas.
In the morning, leave for Amritsar taking about 4 - 5 hours drive, on reaching, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, go out for the city tour, visit the Jalianwala Bagh, Golden Temple and explore the city. Later return to the hotel and spend the night at leisure.
Visit the Golden Temple in the morning hours before leaving for Delhi. It takes around 7 - 8 hours drive to reach Delhi, get dropped off at your respected Stations/ airports or any place. The journey comes to an end.
