1. Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban (Parliament House): Jatia Sangsad Bhaban is the house of the Parliament of Bangladesh, located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka. Designed while the country was still part of Pakistan by architect Louis Kahn, the complex is one of the largest legislative complexes in the world, comprising 200 acres (810,000 m2).
[The building was featured prominently in the 2003 film My Architect, detailing the career and familial legacy of its architect, Louis Kahn. Robert McCarter, author of Louis I. Kahn, described the National Parliament of Bangladesh as one of the twentieth century/’s most significant buildings.]
2. Dhakeshwari Mandir: /Ðhakeshshori Jatio Mondir is a Hindu temple in Dhaka. It is state-owned, giving it the distinction of being Bangladesh/’s /’National Temple/’. The name Dhakeshwari means Goddess of Dhaka. Since the destruction of Ramna Kali Mandir in 1971 by the Pakistan Army during the Bangladesh Liberation War, the Dhakeshwari Temple has assumed status as the most important Hindu place of worship in Bangladesh. It is also the largest Hindu temple in Bangladesh. This temple is part of the famous Shakti Peethas in the Indian Subcontinent. Here the gem of sati/’s crown had fallen.
3. Lalbagh Kella (Fort): Lalbagh Fort (also Fort Aurangabad) is an incomplete 17th-century Mughal fort complex that stands before the Buri-ganga River in the southwestern part of Dhaka. The construction was started in 1678 AD by Mughal Subahdar Muhammad Azam Shah, who was a son of Emperor Aurangzeb and later emperor himself. His successor, Shaista Khan, did not continue the work, though he stayed in Dhaka up to 1688.
The fort was never completed, and unoccupied for a long period of time. Much of the complex was built over and now sits across from modern buildings.

4. Ahsan Monzil (Nawab Palace): Ahsan Monzil is the erstwhile official residential palace and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka. The building is situated at Kumartoli along the banks of the Buri-ganga River in Dhaka. Construction was started in 1859 and was completed in 1872. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. It has been designated as a national museum.

1. Ramna Kali Mandir: The Ramna Kali Mandir was a temple in Dhaka that began in the time of the Mughal Empire. It was also known as the Ramna Kalibari. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Kali.
It was beside the former Dhaka Racecourse, now Suhrawardy Udyan. The entire temple complex occupied almost 2.25 acres (9,100 m2) and was on the south side of Ramna Park, opposite the Bangla Academy.
The temple was destroyed on March 27, 1971, by the Pakistani Army during the Bangladesh Liberation War. It was the site of a massacre of mostly Hindu people.
2. Shaheed Minar: The Shaheed Minar (Martyr Monument) is a national monument in Dhaka, established to commemorate those killed during the Bengali Language Movement demonstrations of 1952 in then East Pakistan.
Now, National, mourning, cultural and other activities are held each year on 21 February (Ekushey February) to mark Language Movement Day or Shaheed Dibas (Martyrs/’ Day), centered on the Shaheed Minar. Since 2000, 21 February is also recognized as International Mother Language Day.
3. Jatio Sriti Soudho: The National Martyrs/’ Memorial (Jatiyo Sriti Soudho) is the national monument of Bangladesh, set up in the memory of those who died in the Bangladesh War of Independence of 1971, which brought independence and separated Bangladesh from Pakistan. The monument is located in Savar, about 35 km northwest of the capital, Dhaka. It was designed by Syed Mainul Hossain and built by Concord Group.
During the journey to Savar, you will enjoy the rural lifeneighborhood of Bangladesh.
