Silvretta Montafon GmbH

The Silvretta Montafon ski location is positioned within the Montafon valley in Vorarlberg. It is one among Austria's ten largest ski regions. The Silvretta Montafon ski area at the beginning existed of the 2 ski areas Silvretta Nova and Hochjoch that have been merged in 2008. The ski location offers 141 km of pistes over 50% of that are at over 2,000 meters. These 141 km include 27 clean pistes, 24 pistes of medium difficulty, 8 hard pistes and 28 km loose trip routes. Skiers can improve their racing competencies on velocity size tracks. Additionally, there are 8 km of iciness hiking trails. The snow park is located at 2050m sea stage, its floor covers three 100,000m².

The amusing park consists of 13 elements which include a boardercross, a funslope, jumps, corners, bins, rails and wave rides. The Montafon World Cup is a part of the FIS Snowboard World Cup considering 2012/thirteen. It takes location annually in December. The races are held within the Silvretta Montafon ski vicinity, beginning a little under the Hochjoch summit and completing near the cable car's mountain station. The difference in altitude between start and finish is around two hundred m.
