About Salzburg

Salzburg is the fourth-biggest city in Austria and the capital of Salzburg state. Salzburg was the origin of eighteenth-century writer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In the mid‑20th century, the city was the setting for the melodic play and film The Sound of Music. The Salzburg Festival is an acclaimed music celebration that draws in guests amid the long stretches of July and August every year. A littler Salzburg Easter Festival is held around Easter every year. The Europrix interactive media grant happens in Salzburg. In the 1960s, the motion picture The Sound of Music utilized a few areas in and around Salzburg and the territory of Salzburg.

The motion picture depended on the genuine story of Maria von Trapp, who took up with a highborn family and fled the German Anschluss. The town draws numerous guests who wish to visit the taping areas, alone or on tours. The previous SV Austria Salzburg achieved the UEFA Cup last in 1994.
