Wollongong

Wollongong calmly insinuated as "The Gong", is an oceanside city arranged in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. Wollongong lies on the thin shoreline front strip between the Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean, 82 kilometers south of Sydney. The Wollongong metropolitan region extends from Helensburgh in the north to Shell Cove in the south. It sits inside the Wollongong Statistical District, which covers the adjacent pro zones of Wollongong, Shellharbour, and Kiama, extending from the town of Helensburgh in the north to Gerroa in the south geographically, the city is arranged in the south-eastern bit of the Sydney bowl, which connects from Newcastle to Nowra.
