Balgowlah

Balgowlah is a suburb of northern Sydney, in the territory of New South Wales, Australia. Balgowlah is found 12 kilometers north-east of the Sydney focal business region in the neighborhood government territory of Northern Beaches Council, in the Northern Beaches area. Balgowlah was named in 1832 after an Aboriginal word meaning north harbor in reference to its situation from Port Jackson. In the beginning of European Settlement it had been known as meager Manly. Sir Edmund Barton, Australia's first head administrator, lived in the building known as Whitehall in White Street.

Balgowlah's primary business region is situated on Condamine Street and Sydney Road. Real organizations in Balgowlah are Harvey Norman and Bunnings Warehouse. Stockland Balgowlah is a mall situated on Condamine Street. The inside opened on 15 July 2009. Its principle majors are Coles, Fitness First and 62 different retailers. Stockland Balgowlah is based on the noteworthy Totem Center, which opened in 1959. The name Totem depended on the North American model. The inside had 33 shops, a playing back road and a colossal Woolworths stores are available.
