About Recollecting Memoirs at Amboseli National Park

Established in 1974 as a national park, the world-renowned Amboseli National Park used to be a reserve in 1906. It is an expansive park, truly dry and hot, situated in Kajiado District, Rift Valley Province at the buttes of the highest mountain in Kenya, the Mount Kilimanjaro. Coming here would give you a different meaning of adventure altogether, and unleashes you to saunter among animals like wildebeest, zebra, impala, etc. Lies at some distance of 240 kilometers south-east of Nairobi, the park shares its closeness to the Tanzania border, and is a place of stark contrast underlining a place of water in Maasai. Its looks amazing when the abundant water supply is filtered through countless volcanic feet rock from Kilimanjaro's snow melt and thus eventually enhances the overall charisma. Rising above the clouds, the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro seems to overshadow each standpoint of Amboseli. The Kenya Wildlife Community Service and the locals around work closely to shield the fragile eco-system of the park. Further, it grounds are fit to home iety of mammals, over 400 bird species and some migratory birds from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Additionally, it is a delightful place for elephants encounters and also to understand the Massai way of living. The Amboseli is a heaven for walking safaris and game viewing, plus, its much-to-the-like accommodation facilities make you decisive about the place to be explored soon. However, it is a reminder of an absolute new beginning which is fresh and brings a welcoming break from routine dullness.
