Parque Nacional Henri Pittier: Carabobo

This is the oldest park in Venezuela which is more known for its historical attractions than for its wildlife attractions and natural beauty. Located in Carabobo, the park covers an area of nearly 435 km2. The historical attractions of the park include the Castle of Solano, Village of San Esteban and Petroglyphs of Vigirima. The animal species that can be seen here are Puma, Ozelot, Boa Constrictor, to name a few. Parque Nacional Henri Pittier park is also is a great place for bird watching.
