Goa Tourism Allows Shacks To Remain Open All Through The Year

Goa is among the most popular and crowded tourist spot of India. It always remains attracted by domestic and foreign visitors all through the year. Thus, with this intention, central government has asked Minister for Tourism, Goa not to dismantle the shacks on the beaches even during offseason. Initially, the Goa tourism used to dismantle the shacks on the beached during off season as per the guidelines of Union Ministry for Environment and Forests provided in the draft amendment to the Coastal Regulation Zone CRZ notification of 2011. This decision will be a great relief to the shack operators and visitors will enjoy their services during offseason.

The shacks are the eateries located on the coastlines of the Goa beaches. These are the places where visitors enjoy drinks, beverages and food. Thus, after several recommendations from stakeholders and government, Minister for Tourism, Goa has taken this decision to let these shacks stay there even in offseason. The policy will be implemented for three years. Thus, as the shack operators this decision is a gift for them from Goa tourism and central government, as they will have opportunity o earn for entire year.
