Kakum National Park

Opened in the year 1990. Kakum National Park has carved a different niche for itself among all natural parks. Situated in the southern part of Ghana, the national park is known for the round tour of a hanging bridge right in the center of the park over the thick jungle. It is especially rewarding for tourists who are looking for some nice birdwatching experience. Rare animals that you can sight here are Mona-meerkat, civet cats, pygmy elephants and forests buffalo, Covered with tropical rain forest, Kakum National Park has some rare fauna species as well.
