It is the third largest city in Karnataka and is often referred to as the Cultural Capital of South Karnataka. Visit the famous Mysore Palace, which is a World Heritage site in Mysuru. The best time to visit this beautiful hill station located in the Nilgiri mountain range is October to June. Take the Bangalore-Mysore highway and then make your way to the most popular hill station in the south by a hilly drive. We hear the drive is relaxing and the town is rejuvenating – perfect for a weekend getaway! It’s about 5-6 hours away from Bangalore by road.
