About Caloocan
Caloocan is the fourth most crowded city in the Philippines. It is separated into two land areas with an aggregate consolidated zone of 5,333.40 hectares. It was once in the past piece of the Province of Rizal of the Philippines' Southern Luzon Region. Initially, Caloocan is a swamp situated on the corner where the old town of Tondo and Tambobong meet. Caloocan turned into an autonomous district after it was isolated from Tondo in 1815, the first region was reached out to Marikina, San Mateo and Montalban toward the east; Tinajeros, Tanza and Tala waterways toward the north; San Francisco del Monte, Sampalok, Sta. Cruz and Tondo in the south; and Dagat-dagatan and Aromahan toward the west.
The city is historically significant because it was the focal point of exercises for the Katipunan, the mystery aggressor society that propelled the Philippine Revolution amid the Spanish control of the Philippines. In a house in Caloocan mystery gatherings were held by Andrés Bonifacio and his men, and it was in the city's edges where the primary outfitted experience occurred between the Katipunan and the Spaniards. The transformation ejected after the Cry of Balintawak drove by Andres Bonifacio. Caloocan is isolated into two non-touching regions. Southern Caloocan lies specifically north of the Manila and is limited by Malabon and Valenzuela toward the north and west, Navotas toward the west, and Quezon City toward the east.
