Kendhoo is one of the possessed islands of Baa Atoll, Maldives. It is situated in the northern piece of the Baa Atoll. Kendhoo is celebrated for its recorded and social hugeness. It is said that the island was visited by the Arabian researcher, Abdul Barakaath Yoosuf al Barbary, otherwise called Thabreyzgefaanu, who is accepted to have been in charge of acquainting Islam with the Maldives in 1153. While he remained on the island, he showed Islamic customs to the islanders and offered every day supplications there. Where he remained to offer the petitions was set apart by building the house named after him.
