Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum

Latvian Ethnographic Open Air Museum Latvian: Latvijas Etnografiskais brivdabas muzejs is an outdoors historical center found simply outside Riga, the capital of Latvia, on the daintily lush shores of Juglas Lake.

In 1924, the Latvian Council of Monuments marked a request to make the outside historical center in Riga. The thought for the new exhibition hall was motivated by outside historical centers in Scandinavia, especially Skansen in Stockholm. The arrangement was to move an estate from each of the four locales of Latvia – Courland, Zemgale, Vidzeme and Latgale – to the exhibition hall. Every one of the structures would speak to the diverse specialties of every territory
