Madhyamgram is an area in Kolkata, in the Indian territory of West Bengal. Authoritatively it is in Barasat Sadar subdivision of North 24 Parganas region in West Bengal, India. It is a piece of Kolkata Urban Agglomeration. Madhyamgram was in the Kingdom of Raja Protapaditya Roy, one of the twelve medieval regions of Bengal, and Ruler of Jessore amid the Mughal regime.
