Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Phuntsholing

Arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP railway station. Transfer to Phuntsholing. Overnight stay in Phuntsholing.

Day 2 : Thimphu

We complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Hotel : Taj Tashi, Thimphu

Day 3 : Thimphu

Full day sightseeing covering National Memorial Chorten, Chang Gangkha Monastery, National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Zorig Chusum, Buddha point, Zoo- housing Takin, Tashichho Dzong. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Hotel : Taj Tashi, Thimphu

Day 4 : Punakha

Transfer to Punakha via Dochula Pass. We visit Punakha Dzong, Suspension Bridge and Chhimi Lakhang. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Hotel : Hotel Pema Karpo, Punakha

Day 5 : Paro

Transfer to Paro and visit tourist attractions- Ta Dzong-National Museum, Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, Drugyal Dzong. Overnight stay in Paro.
Hotel : NA, Paro

Day 6 : Taktsang

Ideal day for Taktsang Monastery Tiger's Nest excursion. Its an wonderful hike of around 3 hours upward on the hills and 2 hours back downhill. Alternatively, for tourists unable to walk this long, excursion to Chelela pass is a treat to eyes with it magnificent beauty.

Day 7 : Phuntsholing.

Transfer to Phuntsholing. Overnight in Phuntsholing

Day 8 : Bagdogra

Transfer to Bagdogra/NJP for onward journey.
