Ecstatic 8 Days 7 Nights Yala Trip Package

Your tour guide will be waiting for you on arrival at Colombo International Airport and from there you will take to your Hotel in Kandy. En route drive to the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage in time to witness the bathing and bottle feeding of baby elephants. In the afternoon take a tour of Kandy town, attend to Kandiyan dancing show and visit the Temple of the Tooth. Overnight at Kandy.

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, this drive takes around two and a half hours through the scenic country side. En route visit to Rambodda waterfalls and sribaktha hanuman temple. In the afternoon take a tour of the colonial town of NuwaraEliya. Have a brief insight into how the world famous Ceylon Tea is created at a tea factory and plantation site. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast proceed to Horton Plains and commence walking inside the Park. Horton plains national park is undoubtedly one of the worlds best nature reserves. The park is also home to a wide variety of flora and 24 species of mammal such as elk, deer, giant squirrel, wild boar, wild hare, porcupine and leopard. For bird enthusiasts, there 87 species (14 of which are endemic), including many migratory birds. The Plains also feature many interesting attractions such as Bakers Falls, Chimmini Pool and the famous World End. On completion return to hotel & overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast, head towards the Yala. En route, visit to dowe ancient temple, rawana waterfalls, ella gap and nature walk to little adams peak. Little Adams Peak whether considering the word Little,it is named after the sacred Adams Peak (Sri Pada where the foot print of Lord Buddha is preserved) regarding the similarity between the two mountains. Therefore the mountain was called as Little Adams Peak. After completing, drive to Yala. Overnight at Yala.

After an early breakfast, we proceed on a full day safari tour at the world famous Yala National Park. Divided into 5 blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks and lagoons. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species including the world's densest concentration of leopards, elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles. Overnight at Yala.

After breakfast, we head towards the beautiful beaches around Mirissa/Hikkaduwa. And along the way visit weherahena temple. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy some of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. Overnight at Mirissa or Hikkaduwa.

Wails and Dolphin watching in early morning. Visit to sea turtles conversation project in the evening. Overnight at Mirissa or Hikkaduwa.

Transfer to Colombo International Airport for your onward flight.
