Day 01: Kandy
Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by a representative and transferred to Kandy.En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage - Started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded, the orphanagehas grown to be a big family today. A unique experience never to be missed.Checked in to hotel.Overnight stay at Hotel Topaz Or Mahaweli Reach, Kandy.

Day 02: Kandy
After breakfast commence city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square and the Temple ofthe Sacred Tooth Relic. Kandy - the hill capital. Venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finallyceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple'sshrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere. Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, Sixty Seven hectares of exquisite beauty and botanical treasurerscontaining more than 4000 species, this is haven not only for Scientists but to every nature lover as well. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought toSri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orison princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute andholiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession.Evening view a cultural show featuring various dance types of Sri Lanka.Overnight stay at Hotel Topaz Or Mahaweli Reach, Kandy.

Day 03: Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya and enroot visit tea plantation. Tea Plantation - Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when afew plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839. In 1867 a Scottish Planternamed James Taylor planted tea seedlings on an 8 hectares of forestland, in the Loolcondura Estate. Nuwara Eliya - The 'Little England' of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys,Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really justlike an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night.All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages orQueen Ann style mansions. Seethaeliya - the little Kovil dedicated to Seetha with statue of Rama, Lakshmana and Hanuman.Overnight stay at GALWAY FOREST LODGE OR GRAND HOTEL, Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04: Yala
After breakfast proceed to yala.Afternoon safari at Yala National Park. Yala is a haven for Fauna both indigenous and migrant. Bird concentrations are by the Lagoons/Salvers.Here are thousands of Flamingoes, Assemblies of spotted Billed Pelicans, Spoonbills, Cormorants and variousspecies of Herons. Pheasants, Pea Fowl, Peacocks and the Wild Fowl are found in hundreds. Wild Buffalo andherds of wild Elephants are a common sight. Whether it is birds or animals you have them all at Yala.Overnight stay at The Safari, Yala.

Day 05: Bentota
After breakfast leave for Bentota. En route commence sightseeing of Galle. Galle - Sri Lanka's most historically interesting town is Galle. Built on a premonitory rock in the south of theIsland. It was a major port until about 100 years, but today still handles shipping and sailing boats in thenatural harbor.Stroll around the Light House and harbor or visit the old town where you can see the traditional lace makersand carvers and purchase some the finest shell-craft souvenirs in the world.Checked in to the hotel.Overnight stay at Iduruwa Beach Htoel Or Eden Resort & Spa Beruwala.

Day 06: Colombo
After breakfast transfer to Colombo and commence city tour of Colombo including shopping. Colombo a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-linedresidential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, SeaStreet - the Goldsmith's quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple withelaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic DawatagahaMosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit theBMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square.Overnight stay at Ramada or Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo.

Day 07: Depart
After breakfast transfer to the airport for departure OR transfer to the preferred beach resort.
