Arrive at Guwahati airport. Receive and proceed to Shillong (110 kms 03 hrs) the Abode of Clouds capital city of the state Meghalaya. En-route to Shillong visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake, you can opt for some thrilling water sports in the lake. Upon arrival at Shillong check in to hotel. Evening visit Police bazaar a prime location of Shillong city. Overnight stay at Shillong.

After breakfast, will go for a day long excursion to Cherrapunjee (56 km one way) – the wettest place on the planet Earth. At Cherrapunjee enjoy the numerous waterfalls like Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai falls, Dainthelen Falls and also experience the adventure of caving at Mawsmai cave. On way to Cherrapunjee will visit Elephant falls and Shillong Peak - the highest point whole of Meghalaya plateau – to have a panoramic view of the Shillong city.

Dawki and river Umgnot, with pictures of crystal clear waters popular in the social media. You can have a bath over here, enjoy local boating and if you are a fish lover than can have can have a taste of Dawki’s fish at nearby food court. Drive to Mawlinnong village (90 km/03 hrs) is claimed to be the cleanest village in Asia. Also walk to the living root – bridge near the village. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. The local people net the roots with each other to form a ropeway like structure which after about 100 years becomes strong enough to be used as a bridge to cross the hilly streams. Drive back to Shillong.

Morning will visit Cathedral, Shillong golf course and the Don Bosco Center for Indigenous Cultures (DBCIC) and drive to Guwahati airport (110 km, 03 hrs) for onward destination.
