Roing is the gateway to Dibang valley, drained by the Dibang river – one of the major tributaries of the Brahmaputra . This area is also referred to as the Mishmi Hills, since it is inhabited by the Mishmi tribe. The area is a biodiversity hotspot 6000 plant species, 100 mammal species and about 700 bird species.
After breakfast, we will set off to explore quaint Idu-Mishmi villages around Roing. The Idus are one of the three Mishmi tribes, the others being Miju and Digaru, which inhabit various parts of the Mishmi Hills, which extend across the Chinese border. We will visit the Idu Mishmi villages of Kebali and Korunu. O/n at Mishmi Hill Camp
