Overnight in Thimpu.

Morning drive 70 kms / 2. 30 hrs to Punakha , with a stop enroute for tea at Dochula pass 3, 100 meters where on a clear day you can get spectacular views of Himalayas. After the heavenly feelings drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, and punakha Dzong, which is noteworthy both for being one of the most beautiful Dzongs in Bhutan and also for having been built by the first shabdrung in 1637. Night stay at Punakha.

Check out from hotel, transfer to Bumthang Via . Trongsa over Pelela Pass at 3300m which forms the part of Black mountain range that divides the country into east and west. After Arrival Check – in at Hotel , Enjoy the Dinner & Stay Over Night at Bumthang.

Day for Bumthang sightseeing , Visit – Kurje Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, Jambay Lhakhang, Jakar Dzong, Mebar Tsho Lake of Burning Fire , Relax an Evening & Enjoy the Dinner & Stay Over Night at Bumthang.

Start early retracing the drive to Paro. In Paro visit the National Museum, the first of its kind which has a collection from natural history to religious paintings. Visit 17 century Paro Dzong Fortress on foot and continue walking through the oldest wooden bridge still in use. Evening stroll old Paro town and peep into some local handicrafts stores. Overnight at Paro.

Visit the Ta Dzong a circular fortress that once protected this valley from the Tibetan invasion. It is now National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities . A short drive back to the paro Rinpung Dzong which was built and consecrated in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. This Dzong is also the administrative seat of district of paro and it also contains a state monastic community of about 200 members. Afternoon will drive up to visit Drugyel Dzong which is located upstream to the end of the paved road . . while coming back from Drugyel Dzong visit `Tigers Nest `base camp & kichu monastery. The evening ends with a walk through the paro`s main shopping district . The local shops sell a verity of goods- groceries , textiles as well as prayer flags. Overnight at paro.

Start for Chele la Pass. Chele La Pass at over 13, 000 ft to the west above the Paro Valley is the highest road pass in the country and has amazing views of the Himilaya and most significantly the magnificent Jhomolari, Bhutan's most sacred peak at over 22, 000 feet. It is a one and a half hour drive from the valley floor in Paro to the pass. It can be ridden on a mountain bike but the climb is a long one. It is great fun to free wheel down either into the Haa Valley on the other side of back to Paro. Night stay at Paro.
