Day 02: Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast enjoy city tour covering Laxmi Narayan Temple - The Place of Gods, India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House - The Government Headquarters and Swaminarayan Akshardham epitomizing 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss.Afternoon visit will includetours to India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House - The Government Headquarters . Beside these attractions in Delhi, some other places included in your itinerary include - Qutab Minar Complex and Chhatrapur Temple (Goddess Durga). The main shrine is dedicated to Goddess Durga and exhibits South Indian temple architectural traits. Return to your hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi - Haridwar (By Train) - Rishikesh
Morning on time assistance and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board train to Haridwar (Dep 0655/Arr 1122 Hrs). Arrival Haridwar Railway Station, Meet and Assist and then visit Har-ki-Pauri and other temples.Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva's hills, i.e., Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Later drive to Rishikesh and evening visit view Aarti Ceremoney. The 'Aarti' by the bathing ghats of the Ganges after sunset and the floating 'dia' (lamp) is a moving ritual. Overnight stay will be at a hotel.
Day 05: Varanasi
Arrival in Varanasi at 1600 Hrs. You will be received by our travel assistant upon arrival and will be transferred to the hotel for your overnight stay. Rest of the day at leisure for own activities.
Day 06: Varanasi
Early Morning boat cruises on the holy river Ganges to see the Bathing ghats. Return to hotel for breakfast. Morning excursion to Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city. Visit the ruins, the Stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum. Afternoon City tour of Varanasi, visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in marble, Durga Temple, Banaras Hindu University which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 08:Arrival Agra
Arrival Agra Fort at 0605 Hrs, On arrival assistance and transfer to Hotel later sightseeing of Agra visit Agra Fort a visit to the fort in Agra is a must since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here, Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb. The tomb is of particular interest since many of its design elephants overshadow the Taj and most beautiful monument Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) by the light of, the most celebrated monument built for love.
