Day 01: Mumbai (Arrive)
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. The first half of the day 1 is booked for the city tour covering Prince of Wales Museum, Flora Fountain, Gateway of India, Hanging Gardens, Crawford Market and the Dhobhi Ghat. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai - Aurangabad
In the morning, you will be transferred to the Mumbai international airport to board the connecting flight to Aurangabad for hotel check-in. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Ellora Caves: Situated 29 kilometers away from Aurangabad, Ellora Caves is a group of 34 caves epitomizing the harmony between Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism.(Ellora caves closed on all Tuesday). Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 03: Aurangabad
Post breakfast, explore the length and breadth of Ajanta caves: A group of 29 caves carved out of rocks with the help of chisels and hammers, Ajanta abounds with wall paintings, frescoes and sculptured art depicting the tales of Jataka.(Ajanta caves closed on all Mondays). Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 04: Aurangabad - Shirdi
Post breakfast, hit the road to Shirdi (125 Kms/3 hrs). On the way, visit Daulatabad Fort () Situated atop of a hill, Daulatabad Fort was built by Mohammad Tughlak in 1187. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Shirdi - Pune
Early morning, Visit the temple of Sai Baba (mind you the queue for darshan is very long) and the temple of Shani. Post lunch, take a road journey to Pune ( 185 kms/4hrs) the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for individual activities. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 07: Pune - Delhi
Post breakfast, you will be transferred to the Pune airport to board connecting flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, check in at the hotel. Later, proceed on a half day city tour of Delhi and New Delhi. covering Humayun# s Tomb, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Laxmi Narayan temple, Parliament House and Connaught Place. Stay overnight in the Hotel.
