Brandon

It is a unincorporated group and evaluation assigned place CDP in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. It is a piece of the Tampa– St. Petersburg– Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Its history started on January 20, 1857, when John Brandon 1809– 1886 touched base at Fort Brooke now Tampa from Mississippi with his first spouse Martha 1813– 1867 and six children. At first he moved his family to what is presently the Seffner zone. At that point in August 1858, John Brandon obtained 40 sections of land 160,000 m2 in the New Hope territory now Brandon and 0.65 km2 later on and afterward named his property "Brandon". John and his second spouse Victoria's home was situated on what might turn into the edge of Knights Avenue and Victoria Street.
