Panama City is a city, arrange 1913 of Bay territory, northwestern Florida, U.S. It is the port of section on St. Andrew Bay, around 95 miles 150 km east of Pensacola. The central English settlement c. 1765, known as Old Town, was a calculating town later called St. Andrew.
In 1909 Panama City named by architect George W. West for Panama City, Panama met with St. Andrew and Millville to outline the present city. The city is the seat of Gulf Coast Community College 1957 and has grounds of Florida State University. St. Andrews State Recreation Area, known for its astounding shorelines, is just south of the city. Narrows World Marine Park in nearby Panama City Beach fuses dolphin and sea lion shows up.
