Pfaffikon

Pfaffikon is a municipality in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland. It is the seat of the district of the equal name. It isn't always to be burdened with Pfaffikon SZ on Lake Zurich however in the canton of Schwyz. In Roman technology, along Pfaffikersee there was constructed a Roman street from the vicus Centum Prata on Obersee–Lake Zurich through Vitudurum to Tasgetium to the Rhine. To cozy this critical delivery path, the Irgenhausen Castrum was built. The native name of the castle is unknown, hence Irgenhausen turned into cited in 811 AD as Camputuna sive Irincheshusa.

Maybe the castrum's call turned into Cambodunum, the name of the neighbouring village of Kempten. Pfaffikon is first stated in 811 as faffinchova. In 965 it become cited as haffinchova. Their density facilitates interaction among people, government agencies and groups, every now and then reaping rewards different events inside the system.
